FAQ

Courses are based on clock hours and not semester.  Each student completes his or her course on an individual pace. The more hours a student attains, the faster they can complete the course.

The Long Island Barber Institute has two schedule morning and afternoon.

Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.  Long Island Barber Institute admissions officers assist in completing a payment agreement during enrollment.  We directly assist by offering an installment plan to defray tuition cost over the length of the course.

Yes, a High School Diploma, Transcript, or G.E.D is required.  Assistance is available for those who did not complete High School and have not attained a G.E.D.

A photo ID and Social Security card.

17 years of age or order upon course completion.
