The Master Barber course is the full practice of traditional barbering, and deals with both development of skill and theory knowledge. This course goes beyond the apprentice level, and trains the student for the state board exam in preparation for barbershop management and/or ownership.

This course is designed for New York State registered apprentice barbers. You will learn the guidelines, expectations and practical procedures to successfully pass the state board exam. Upon completion, you will be skillfully prepared to take the state exam to become a licensed barber.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to teach master barber skills to a person already licensed as a Cosmetologist, or for those who posses advanced training in Cosmetology. Upon completion, the graduate will obtain the fundamentals to successfully pass the N.Y.S. barber exam to become a licensed barber. Upon completion, graduate will obtain the fundamentals to successfully pass the N.Y.S. barber exam to become a licensed barber.
